Primary Objective

  • To develop and maintain a profitable desk through generation and service of new and existing schools within the areas identified in the business plan.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • To be responsible for fully managing all recruitment related activity in order to maximise the value of the recruitment process to the client and meet performance and contribution targets.
  • To provide a professional and efficient service to clients and candidates, establishing strong working relationships.
  • Develop new client and business opportunities in order to maximise the revenues of the desk through the placement of candidates on temporary assignments or permanent placement.
  • To meet and surpass Net Fee Income Targets and set KPIs.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct sales calls to establish a requirement from the client.
  • To attend sales visits with potential clients
  • To attend service visits for existing clients to ensure the service offered is second to none.
  • To ensure that the pipeline of candidates is sufficient to service the needs of the desk.
  • Negotiate with clients and candidates, satisfying their requirements without compromising margins
  • Write effective adverts for the recruitment of candidates
  • To advertise and search for candidates in the most efficient manner using technology as an accelerator
  • Interview candidates face to face, effectively establishing candidates key strengths, matching candidates skills & attributes to clients job specifications
  • Follow due process in terms of the legislative requirements when recruiting candidates, following the defined compliance process
  • Conduct regular formalised reviews with key clients, taking and acting upon feedback, offering innovative solutions, and constantly seeking to improve upon our service
  • Develop a strong knowledge of our client and candidate database, maintain constant updates, and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
  • To meet and surpass the budget and KPI expectations
  • To ensure the delivery of first class recruitment services to all key stakeholders
  • To adhere to all company policies and procedures and legislation

Desirable

  • Experience of the education recruitment sector
  • Proven sales ability
  • Experience of managing multiple roles and resourcing assignments to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of legislation that affects the education recruitment sector
  • Experience of utilising job boards and searching online CV databases
