Art Teacher

Art Teacher required for this friendly and welcoming South Gloucestershire secondary school based near Bristol.

This school is well structured, with clear policies and procedures. So this is a rewarding opportunity for the successful applicant willing to fully commit to this post.

This is an interim post from mid-November until the end of the Christmas term initially. The post is full-time and may extend pending the permanent post-holders return to work. Applications are particularly welcomed from an art teacher with GCSE & A level teaching experience. A small year 11 tutor group is included in the job role. All of the free periods & PPA allowances will be safeguarded and marking & planning will be required.

Applicants will need to clearly demonstrate:

  • specialism as, or good recent experience as a art teacher
  • ability to consistently deliver interesting lessons to a 'Good' standard
  • willingness to commit to the flexible contract duration
  • previous experience teaching at key stages 345
  • GCSE & A level exam group experience preferred
