Working with Jervoise School

ITN Mark Education is working in partnership with Jervoise School and St. Edmund and St. John's CofE Primary School, part of the drb ignite multi-academy trust, to recruit creative, ambitious and committed teaching staff for September 2016 at what is proving to be a very exciting time for both schools.

We would like to hear from KS1 and KS2 teachers interested in working within a progressive and forward looking multi academy trust who can bring their expertise and passion for teaching to help us continue on our journey to “outstanding”.  In return, we can offer you a stimulating and collegiate working environment, the opportunity to work across schools within the trust and lots of scope to develop your career.

Executive Headteacher, Kevin McCabe

Our school Mission Statement lies at the heart of what we do, it provides us with the filter for our day-to-day work. Working alongside the pupils, teachers and support staff and putting it into practice on a daily basis is one of the great pleasures of being headteacher of Jervoise.

Our journey from being one of the less well performing schools to one of the best in academic terms is a testament to the positive attitude and support from pupils, parents and the community. This simple measure does not begin to explain the levels of motivation and engagement of the children. We have a very active and supportive governing body that is committed to the strategic development of the school to continue to improve the educational opportunities we can offer our community.

Our recent conversion to become a founding member of the drb ignite multi-academy trust will enable us to improve further the opportunities we can offer our children, staff, parents and community. The school's aim is to send our children into the world and make it a better place and have many links influencing how we deliver our international primary curriculum.
