Primary School Tutors

Are you qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible working?

Do you love teaching and want part time hours?

Are you available for work from September 2020?

Children in England are set to benefit from a £1 billion Covid "catch-up" tuition package to directly tackle the impact of lost teaching time. Academics require experienced tutors as well as QTS teachers and learning support staff interested in becoming tutors to help deliver this important project.

We anticipate huge demand in tuition next year and Academics are putting together tuition packages for schools to support them with delivering this exciting project.

Academics are keen to provide high-quality 'catch up' tuition for young people who have missed vital schooling and invite applications from tutors and aspiring tutors alike.

We are interested in applications from QTS teachers as well as learning support staff as tuition can be delivered by both groups, it's a keen interest in the development and progress of young people that is a must.

The ideal candidate will be:

Child centered, have experience working with small groups or providing 1:1 tuition and want to make a positive difference to help children catch up with their studies.

Able to work with small groups or on a one to one basis to raise attainment in both low and high achieving pupils. You may be expected to plan and assess your students work in both literacy and numeracy to enable them reach their full potential. You may also be asked to support with other subjects on the curriculum when required.

Be a team player who can work well with the class teacher and other school staff so that all students have the best learning environment possible.
