Teaching Assistant

CPSS are looking recruit a level 3 teaching assistant who can support as a TA in Early Years to encourage engagement in the classroom and support learning. This popular school based in the Kings Norton area of South Birmingham require a calm and friendly TA to work in Nursery and Reception to support two non verbal pupils with additional needs in all areas of school life.

This is a full time post for the Autumn term initially, This is an opportunity to join a highly effective and hardworking team of teachers and support staff who are committed to the school and the children who attend

The ideal candidate:

* Level 3 qualification minimum
* Long term experience of working with children experiencing SEN
* Experience of supporting pupils in KS2
* Able to support strong willed children and manage behaviour
* Able to communicate and build rapport with the children they support
* Confident in communicating with SENCO, leadership team and parents
* Dedicated to working with SEN children & helping them thrive
* Meticulous when it comes to completing individual education plan's (IEP) to ensure everything is covered and the child's accomplishments are not only recorded but rewarded
