Year 2 Intervention Teacher job vacancy in Bristol, Contract position

Are you looking for some part time teaching? Would you like to work with a smaller group of children?

If so, this may be just the role for you.

ITN Mark Education is looking for a teacher to fill an intervention role at a primary school in north Bristol. A small group of Year 2 pupils need extra help in literacy and numeracy. The school needs a teacher to work with them 3 days a week, Monday to Wednesday, all full school working days. Planning will be prepared by members of SLT who will also work with the group during the later part of the week.

The school is looking for an experienced primary teacher that specialises in key stage 1 and has good knowledge of year 2 SATs. Previous intervention experience is also desirable, along with an approach that is both patient and supportive. The school itself has a motto of lifelong learning, where it develops children on an individual basis through a broad and balanced curriculum helping them to prepare for life in the 21st century.

If you believe you can make a positive impact on these pupils, then we want to hear from you.

To apply you must have;

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A teaching qualification
  • UK QTS status
  • An enhanced DBS (ITN Mark can process this for you)
  • References to cover a minimum of 2 years

If you are interested please contact Lee at the Bristol office on 0117 929 7999.
