We are looking for a self-assured graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children in a similar setting. The Headteacher wants to recruit a SEN/ASD Teaching Assistant with a compassionate persona that pupils warm to and a true drive to exceed expectations. The school needs a graduate who has a full appreciation of the needs of their students to develop their social skills as well as their intellectual capabilities.

The ideal SEN/ASD Teaching Assistant will be an empathetic graduate who possesses the ability to inspire those around them. This SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy is open to those who have a resilient attitude and the belief that all challenging situations can be overcome with communication, hard work, and a positive approach.

Part of your role will see you supporting the progress of a Year 6 boy who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. This will entail you mentoring him during break time and helping him build more positive social connections with his peers.
