Supply Teacher job vacancy in Coventry, Temporary position

This primary school in Coventry is looking for a pool of supply Teachers to take on the role of PPA Teacher to cover all key stages.

You will be able to keep pupils engaged in their work and be able to follow pre made lesson plans. You may need to use your initiative and help students with any questions or problems they may have whilst attempting to do their work.

The executive Head teacher and the head of school have gained the trust of staff, which has enabled them to rapidly focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning. All staff are challenged positively and effectively to improve.

The pupils at this school are well behaved and creative, who need a confident and dedicated teacher to continue their excellent progress and achievements. You will also need to be able to work as part of a team and will need to be confident whilst speaking with parents and external agencies. You will also need to be an experienced teacher who is able to develop pupils, giving them a stepping stone to for their future

Successful primary teachers must:

  • Be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Hold QTS and eligibility to work within the UK
  • Experience of teaching across Primary
  • Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
  • Possess extensive subject knowledge
  • Think and plan strategically
  • Commit to the learning and development of pupils
  • Teach at a consistently outstanding level
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
