SEN Teaching Assistant job vacancy in Birmingham, Temporary position

I am looking recruit an Early Years trained teaching assistant who can support a child on a one to one basis to encourage transition into the class setting and alleviate some of the frustration that has built up.

This child who has been statemented with Autism and ADHD is in need of a

learning support assistant who is able to support him behaviourally and academically

to alleviate his frustrations and make his school day an enjoyable and pleasant

experience where he is shown the patience and attention he needs to grow and thrive.

A lovely school that boasts a great team, the person who is successfully recruited will be joining an inspirational team.

The ideal candidate:

    • Level 3 qualification minimum
    • Long term experience of working with children of reception age
    • SEN experience covering early years, behavioural and one to one specifically
    • Able to communicate and build rapport with the children they support
    • Confident in communicating with SENCO, leadership team and parents
    • Passionate about working with SEN children & dedicated to helping them thrive
    • Meticulous when it comes to completing individual education plan's (IEP) to ensure everything is covered and the child's accomplishments are recorded and rewarded
