Part - Time Primary Teacher job vacancy in Coventry, Contract position

This "Good" Catholic school based in Coventry is seeking a "good" primary teacher to work part time, 3 days a week in their key stage 2.

This school is Birmingham side of Coventry and it is easily commutable from Tamworth and Atherstone

This Catholic school is a highly successful 1-form entry primary, located in Coventry.

As the Part time Primary Teacher, you will be taking over a bright and enthusiastic class within KS2 and be expected to provide first class teaching.

Your role is supported by a talented Teaching Assistant who is available full time to support you in general class teaching but also lead small groups sessions based on your instruction. Part of your role will include planning and preparing consistently creative and engaging lessons with the use of the schools resources. You will need to adhere to the school's creative ethos that requires teacher to think outside the box and form imaginative lessons plans.

Successful primary teachers must:

  • Be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Excellent Key Stage 2 knowledge is necessary
  • Hold QTS and eligibility to work within the UK
  • Have extensive Primary experience
  • Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
  • Possess extensive subject knowledge
  • Think and plan strategically
  • Commit to the learning and development of pupils
  • Teach at a consistently outstanding level
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
