Level 3 Nursery Assistant job vacancy in Birmingham, Contract position

A dedicated nursery assistant is required for a successful nursery school in Perry Barr, Birmingham.

This is a large nursery where children are offered a wide range of real life learning opportunities. Staff work as a team to ensure all children are provided with the best pre-school education and leave confident and ready for Primary School.

We are looking for a committed EYFS assistant with experience of working in Nursery School. Experience in a Day Care setting alone is not sufficient, Nursery experience is essential.

Staff must be able to work independently, using their own initiative and be confident working with small groups and 1:1.

Successful Nursery Assistants will:

  • Help children in all areas of the curriculum
  • Recent NURSERY SCHOOL experience
  • School/ nursery references
  • Up to date knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Support children with a variety of requirements both within a class setting and small groups
  • Maintain pupil records
  • Uphold the rules of the classroom

Nursery Assistants must have:

  • CACHE Level 3
  • BTEC
  • NVQ Level 3
  • HLTA
