KS1 Teacher needed job vacancy in Swindon, Contract position

Primary Teacher with ASD experience needed.

ITN Mark Education would like to welcome applications from SEND Primary Teachers experienced in supporting children with complex learning difficulties.

We are currently working with an SEN school in Swindon who are seeking a primary Teacher who is willing to teach KS1 and KS2 students 3 days a week (flexible on what days are worked) from September to December, this role has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Our School

This is an OFSTED rated Good school, who cater to children from the age of 2 - 19 with moderate and complex learning needs predominantly Autism (ASD/ASC).

The school's ethos is one of instilling confidence and self esteem, allowing students to go on to achieve and make a successful transition into adulthood. The students enjoy going to this school as they find that the staff can provide a happy and enriching environment to learn, and so teachers are able to focus on facilitating learning and development.

  • Eligibility to work within the UK
  • Relevant SEND Experience
  • Excellent behaviour management

  • Patient and caring personality and be able to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Commitment to learning and development of pupils
  • Flexibility; providing support where needed and work alongside staff to gain a full understanding of the students needs
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
