Key stage 2 Teacher job vacancy in Lichfield, Temporary position

A rural catholic primary school based in Lichfield is seeking a Key stage 2 Teacher for 1 term with a view to carry on after December.

The behaviour within this school is excellent but as with any school you have the odd disruptions. However, excellent behaviour management is key for this role.

The school is set in a lovely building which contains good resources which are utilised effectively to enrich each child's education. The new key stage 2 role will see you teaching a mixed class of Year 4/5

This Key stage 2 role would be great for an experienced teacher but it would equally great for an NQT looking for career progression.

This is a great school with a lovely Headteacher who is long standing and has a clear path for the school.

Successful Primary Teachers must:

  • Be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Experience working across key stage 2
  • Practising catholic is desirable but not essential
  • Hold QTS and eligibility to work within the UK
  • Have extensive Primary experience
  • Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
  • Possess extensive subject knowledge
  • Think and plan strategically
  • Commit to the learning and development of pupils
  • Teach at a consistently outstanding level
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
