ITN Mark Education continues its support of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity

25 October 2016 Posted by: Roger Marsh , Managing Director

ITN Mark Education is delighted to be continuing our support for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity following a very successful year of fundraising.

Our various events around the ITN Mark Education offices, including raffles, cake baking (and eating!), various sporting achievements and plenty of dressing up has raised over £3,000 for Rainbow Trust Children's Charity last year, who we know will put the money towards supporting seriously ill children and their families.

We are so proud to support Rainbow Trust who helps families caring for a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Families supported by the charity have a dedicated Family Support Worker helping them at home, in hospital or in the community, however they can to make life a little easier.

You can read about the excellent work of Rainbow Trust here and about how they are supported by this year’s Children in Need annual appeal.

The charity provides support to over 2,000 families across England and last year provided over 10,000 hours of home support, 3,000 hours of sibling support and 1,000 hours of bereavement support.

We know the money we have raised will help to make a real difference to the children and to family members who need the support and help at the most challenging times of their lives and we look forward to another fantastic year of fundraising on their behalf.

Emma Haines, Rainbow Trust Director of Marketing and Fundraising, says: “We are so grateful to ITN Mark Education for continuing to support us for another year. Rainbow Trust relies on the generous support from companies to ensure that we can continue providing our vital support to families who need it most.”
