Year 1 Teacher job vacancy in Birmingham, Temporary position

A lovely Catholic Primary School in North Birmingham is seeking an experienced Year 1 Teacher.

This is a long term role until the end of the academic year but the school but there is an opportunity within the school available in September. If you are looking for a long term role which offers stability, this may be right role for you!

This is a school where pupils make good progress and all staff are keen to support the pupils to progress.

Successful primary teachers must:

  • Be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Hold QTS and eligibility to work within the UK
  • Experience of teaching across all primary key stages
  • Good experience in Foundation Stage
  • Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
  • Possess extensive subject knowledge
  • Think and plan strategically
  • Provide clear objectives for lessons
  • Commit to the learning and development of pupils
  • Teach at a consistently
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
