Year 1 Teacher job vacancy in Swindon, Contract position

ITN Mark is working with an expanding primary school in Swindon that is recruiting for a Year 1 teacher to cover maternity leave from January 2018, and earlier if possible, until Summer.

The school has expanded to 2-form-entry, so if you were successful for this job, you would have a partner teacher to work in tandem with, and bounce ideas off to support your planning. The parallel class is taught by 2 teachers on a job share, one of whom is the SENCo, so you would have a lot of support in this role.

The school has been judged as 'Good' by Ofsted, and the staff work really well with what could be a challenging cohort due to the high percentage of EAL students. It's a catholic school, and Ofsted has commented on the quality of the provision for students' social, moral and spiritual education. Data also suggests that the progress made by students who receive pupil premium funding is much better than the national average.
