Upper KS2 Teacher - Year 3

ITN Mark Education is a recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Kent. The school requires a skilled teacher that can join the upper key stage two team in September 2017. Teachers that have a preference for teaching in Year 3 or Year 4 are encouraged to apply or to call for more information about the role.

The school is a four form entry primary school with a strong leadership team that has a clear vision and its continued journey of success. At its most recent Ofsted they have been graded as a "Good" school. The school has had a period of redevelopment and investment, upgrading a lot of the current spaces in the school and building new ones in preparation for its expansion.

The school is looking for a talented classroom practitioner. Experienced, newly qualified and recently qualified teachers are all welcome to apply to this role. The ideal teacher should:

  • Experience teaching KS2, Year 3 teaching experience would be ideal
  • Have a positive impact on pupil progress and be effective at raising attainment
  • Be able to engage children in lessons that are stimulating
  • Use positive and effective behaviour management strategies
  • Plan stimulating and creative lessons
  • Have excellent KS2 subject knowledge
  • Be a good team player
  • Be able to provide two recent professional references
  • Be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check
