Maths NQT - ITN Mark Education

ITN Mark Education is seeking to appoint a Maths NQT for a permanent position starting in September 2017. We are working on behalf of a faith school in North Birmingham who are looking for an NQT. The successful NQT will receive training and support to develop them.

The school, which open recently, is a fairly small school who aim to provide educational excellence. They not only aim for high academic standards, but also to foster a love of learning in their pupils.

  • Pupil behaviour is exemplary.
  • Pupils are keen to learn and enjoy strong working relationships with teachers and support staff.
  • The quality of teaching is outstanding.
  • Senior leadership are very supportive.
  • The school are very successful in supporting newly qualified teachers.

The Role:

  • Teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 pupils.
  • Ensuring the school's high standards with regards to results are maintained.
  • All aspects of planning, marking and lesson delivery.
  • Ensuring that all books are marked in a timely fashion, with clear and constructive feedback provided at all times.
  • Attending parents Evenings.
  • Report writing.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an NQT looking for your first permanent job.
  • Be creative in your lesson planning to ensure all pupils are engaged in lessons.
  • Be able to maintain high standards in your marking and data capture.
  • Have experience of working within a high pressured, high achieving environment.
  • Be a Maths specialist, with a degree in Maths or related subject.
