Higher Level Teaching Assistant job vacancy in Birmingham, Contract position

ITN Mark Education would like to welcome a HLTA/ level 4 upwards to support key stage one and key stage two.

This larger than average primary school is looking to attract a dedicated team member who will offer their support and boost attainment throughout their learning environment. The school provides an excellent working and learning environment for staff and pupils alike. The quality of teaching is good and in some cases outstanding. Teachers provide work that is well matched to pupils' varying needs and abilities. Teaching assistants contribute valuably to pupils' good achievement. Pupils behave well in school and their attitude to learning is good.

Successful Teaching Assistants will:

  • Help support children in all areas of the curriculum
  • Assist with the preparation of the learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, pupils and staff members
  • Maintain pupil records
  • Adhere to the school's behaviour policy
  • Provide specific one to one support
  • Uphold the rules of the school/classroom

As DfE Quality Mark holders, ITN Mark Education requires all primary teachers to have a fully enhanced DBS check, minimum of two references plus a face to face interview.

You must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent for this role.
