English Teacher

ITN Mark Education is looking to recruit a enthusiastic English teacher for a dynamic and challenging Secondary School in North Birmingham. The role requires a forward thinking individual with an outgoing attitude with a real passion for English that they could instil in the pupils. The role is full time starting in January to cover a maternity leave, you will be teaching both Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The role is open to NQTs or experienced teachers.

Their curriculum is designed to suit the needs of individual pupils .They are a fully inclusive school in which pupils of all backgrounds are able to thrive, develop their talents and contribute both to the life of the school and the wider community. The successful candidate will join the innovative English programme which encourages teachers to provide stimulating lessons which involves all students and allows them to progress.

They would ideally like a passionate and engaging teacher who is happy to involve themselves in the role fully.

Successful secondary teachers must:

  • Hold QTS and eligibility to work within the UK
  • Promote equal opportunities in the classroom
  • Thinks and plans strategically
  • Commit to the learning and development of pupils
  • Teach at a consistently outstanding level
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
  • Ensure there is a consistent high level of challenge in delivery of lessons
