BESD Primary Teacher job vacancy in Southampton, Permanent position

ITN Mark Education Southampton are recruiting for a BESD Primary Teacher in a school with _Outstanding _Ofsted rating situated in New Forest, Hampshire.

The role is a permanent role starting September 2017.

This special school with 60+ pupils aged from 9-18 years that have a variety of learning needs including MLD emotion, social and mental health needs associated with ASD. The school is currently expanding to accommodate a primary school within its grounds and are looking for an experienced primary teacher with BESD experience.

You will be joining a well led and successful school that is continuously improving year on year. The school promotes an ethos of diversity. A School that prides themselves on building strong partnerships that encourages staff and pupils to build effective relationships in school that prepares its pupils to have a positive self image to prepare for the challenges of independent living and change.


The Role
As a qualified SEN Teacher with QTS, you will be responsible for a primary class of around 6-12 students as well as having the support of teaching and learning support assistants. It will be your role to lead and guide your teaching assistants throughout the day to continuously raise your pupils learning through your team. You must have in-depth knowledge on Primary Education Levels as well as the ability and experience to tailor your lessons to meet the needs of each individual pupil. You will have a track record of improving teaching quality in your previous roles. This role will be ideal for a Teacher that is keen to teach a smaller class and be able to work very closely with each student. Ideal for a current mainstream primary teacher with relevant SEN experience
