The ways we use maths before 9am

We’ve all heard it in the classroom; a student will say, “But Miss, we’re never going to use maths when we leave school”, and they are somewhat correct.
Chances are, they may not use trigonometry again. However, there are loads of aspects of maths that they use and will continue to use, as they go about their daily lives.
When teaching maths, it’s critical to link it with things that your pupils can relate to, so they remain engaged and ready to learn throughout the lesson.
