Quality Assured

ITN Mark carries out a stringent vetting process which has been recognised by both the DCSF and the REC. ITN Mark was one of the first agencies in 2002 to gain the Quality Mark and has been subsequently reaccredited in the recent round of audits conducted by the REC.

A summary of the vetting process which all candidates, regardless of the position, go through is as follows:

  • A face-to face professional interview with an education specialist
  • Qualification verification
  • Professional references obtained covering a minimum of two years
  • Medical history declaration
  • Identity checks
  • ISA Barred List Check
  • Up-to-date and valid enhanced CRB Disclosure
  • Overseas Police Clearance (for overseas candidates)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (if applicable)
  • GTC registration checked
