In March 2012, the Basildon Academies were experiencing low staff retention, had undergone a change in the Leadership Team and were in special measures. By the end of 2013, following a collegiate approach to management and a programme of leadership training, the Basildon Academies Trust is now out of special measures with the behaviour of pupils and leadership rated as ‘good’.
