ITN Mark Education retains high standards in recent Quality Mark re-accreditation
January 2012
ITN Mark Education has once again completed the auditing process for the prestigious Department for Education Quality Mark re-accreditation and has continued to uphold its previous high standards and unblemished record by achieving the top score of 100%.
The Quality Mark is a joint initiative between the Department for Education and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and is designed to help both schools and teachers become more confident about and raise the standards of the agencies they use. Quality Mark holders are required to meet strict standards covering the way supply teachers are recruited, selected and supplied to schools. To achieve the Quality Mark, applicants must undergo a rigorous assessment process including a comprehensive on-site audit, with re-accreditation audits carried out on an annual basis.
ITN Mark was first awarded the Quality Mark when it was launched in 2002 and has held the award since then, clearly demonstrating the importance that all ITN Mark staff have placed on maintaining a first class service to both clients and candidates over the years.
Kevin Green, Chief Executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) which manages the Quality Mark scheme, said: " ITN Mark Education is to be congratulated for excelling themselves by getting 100% again, the optimum standard for recruiting supply teachers. The Quality Mark is becoming increasingly recognised within the industry as guaranteeing effective and ethical provision of supply teachers who are so crucial to the lifeblood of schools."
Sharon Bullock, ITN Mark's Commercial Director said: " I'm extremely proud and delighted that we have been re- accredited with the Quality Mark. It is recognition of the high standards and professionalism that goes into ensuring these stringent standards of compliance are met on a daily basis in each of our 16 branches. "
