ITN Mark Education is delighted to announce our professional association with Mick Waters.

Mick has dedicated his professional life to working with children, to improve their prospects and opportunities through the joy and inspiration of education. Mick has made it his mission to try to ensure that every child he serves, every teacher he supports, and every Head Teacher he works with is inspired by his unique ability to create a sense of liberation and hope for the future. He brings to it a personal and single-minded passion.

His long and prestigious career has seen Mick at the heart of our school system, supporting schools in a range of roles from Head Teacher to Director of Curriculum with central government. His inspirational style and solid leadership qualities have enabled him to take challenging schools to the next level, empowering staff, parents and pupils alike to create sustainable change at school level and a shift in attitude to achieve academic heights.

He believes that "every child should have a moment" and that, through his experience and the support and consultation of experienced and trusted Education Advisors, every school has an opportunity to bask in the fulfilment and success our children deserve.

As a Chief Education Officer, Mick has enjoyed working in many areas where his pragmatic approach to improving standards has seen a real shift in education and attitude at school level. His influence is widespread and it is his unique child-centric approach that makes him a very special person and someone with whom we are immensely proud to associate ourselves. Mick currently works with the schools in the Black Country, raising standards in the West Midlands.

Mick is working with ITN Mark as a Strategic Consultant to ensure that our team of Education Advisors are chosen on merit for their child-centric approach and services to the school community.
